Even though it has been more than two weeks since the Troy Trojans and Richardson managed to acquire the Sun Belt Conference championship, we never see Richardson without a big smile upon his face. According to Richardson, winning the Sun Belt Conference Championship is one of the best things that he has ever experienced.

Brandon Roberts, the reason why his team won

Freshman Brandon Roberts, who plays as jumper of the left baseline, was the most important element for ULM in emerging victorious against the Blue Raiders. It was his 2 points shot, with only 1.5 seconds remaining for the end of the match, the main factor why this team took another victory. We are sure that this bright young man has a great future ahead of him.

All the way from Arkansas State, senior guard Rudy Sims was awarded with one of the most contested recognitions, the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week. She was, by far, the most important player against Louisiana-Lafayette, and it was because of her that her team managed to take the victory in overtime.

The SWAC Championship was decided by the Bulldogs, before the time was over, Chris Wallace, offensive player of the year, could not hold back his tears while his dream slipped away from his reach. All the way from Jackson State University in Minnesota, the women's basketball team has a travel scheduled on Monday to Hammond Louisiana in order to face the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions in what promises to be an exciting match.
